How the IACTCenter Trains You to Become a World Class ADHD Life Coach
The International ADHD Coach Training Center (IACTCenter) was founded by Laurie Dupar, PMHNP, RN, PCC, SCAC, who brings her unparalleled medical and coaching expertise into all aspects of the Center. Laurie has the experience of a trained Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, 15 years as a credentialed ADHD Life Coach and 10 years mentoring and training emerging ADHD Life Coaches. The International ADHD Coach Training Center is With You for an Entire Year... Every Step of the Way... as You Complete the Steps to Graduation and Certification as an ADHD Life Coach
We know that the steps to becoming a certified ADHD Life Coach can be confusing when you are just starting out, so we want to take the crazy out and tell you exactly what will happen in your training at the IACTCenter:
Your first six-month's at the IACTCenter is focused on providing you a thorough ADHD Life Coach curriculum including an advanced knowledge of ADHD, introduction and interaction with the tools, exercises and strategies you will use in your ADHD Life Coaching practice, and the opportunity to observe, practice and engage in real life coaching during our twice a month Coaching Labs.
The coaching curriculum at the IACTCenter is straightforward and divided into three key areas:
1. Foundations of ADHD for Coaches
2. Growth: Coaching Tools for Awareness and Change, and
3. CORE: Essential Coaching Skills for the ADHD Life Coach
Classes are twice a week on Mondays and Wednesdays for 90 minutes for a total of 77 continuing coach education (CCEs). Trust us, 77 CCEs is a good number 🙂 We connect virtually in our Global Classroom by phone using a teleclass format.
Running concurrently with the coach training program is the 30 hours of Business Building Curriculum you get as part of your training. From day one you get straightforward answers to creating your coaching business. Monthly on the third Tuesday of the month we meet live on our Global Conference call to answer any questions you have about business building and quarterly we provide virtual retreats to help teaach you step by step critical business systems that work!
But it doesn't stop there. Once you have completed the initial in class portion of your training, prepared with the information, systems and skills needed to be an exceptional ADHD Life Coach, we continue to partner and support you for the remainder of a calendar year as you fine tune your coaching skills, accrue coaching practice hours and put the final pieces of your coaching business into place.
During this second half of your training you continue to be an important part of our IACTCenter community and we are with you step by step as you fine tune your coaching skills in the twice a month Coaching Labs. The Coaching Labs provide a rich learning environment with opportunities to coach, be coached, observe live coaching and be involved with Coaching Case Studies. And, as you are putting the final pieces in place for your coaching practice you will benefit from the ongoing monthly business building calls and virtual retreats.
Finally, something only the IACTCenter provides as part of your tuition, is five hours of required mentor coaching. In other programs this required mentoring for certification is an additional hidden expense ranging anywhere from $500-$1000. We at the IACTCenter feel so strongly in our program that we include this one on one mentoring for you at no additional cost.

The 16 classes (total of 24 hours) in this module focus on the skills, techniques and tools ADHD life coaches use to facilitate awareness, change and personal growth with their clients. This 8 weeks, 24 hour CCE course module will bring all the pieces together as we focus on master the coaching skills, competencies and process you must learn and demonstrate in order to graduate from the IACTCenter and apply for credentialing by the International Coaching Federation.

Some Answers to Your Questions
How long does it take to complete the program?
The IACTCenter is an approved International Coach Federation training program. Upon successful completion and graduation from the IACTCenter you earn the designation of a Certified ADHD Life Coach (CALC). You have a full calendar year to complete the coursework, experience live coaching, build the foundation of your coaching business and complete the mentoring hours required for graduation. During the first six months we keep you completely engaged as you learn more than you thought you ever could about ADHD, introduce you to the systems, tools and exercises you will use in your coaching practice, and master the skills and competencies of an exceptionally well trained ADHD Life Coach.
In the second half of your program, we continue to provide you the encouragement, support and opportunity to become even more confident in your coaching and benefit from the ongoing ADHD business building support. Experience suggests a commitment of about 8 hours each week for class time, preparation and coaching practice.

What happens at the end of the program?
Once you complete the IACTCenter approved training, you earn the designation as a Certified ADHD Life Coach (CALC) and are well on your way to applying for your credentials from the International Coaching Federation.
Who can I coach when I graduate from the IACTCenter program?
The IACTCenter prepares you to coach persons in any age group, including students, college students, adults and even our senior folks just recently discovering their ADHD.
Where is the IACTCenter located?
The IACTCenter is completely virtual, meaning you can access our training from anywhere in the world…from your home office, your living room couch, or your favorite coffee shop.
What if I live overseas?
Specific class times will be determined based on the best possible fit for our domestic and international students. Any questions about dates and times, please email info@IACTCenter.com.
What requirements do I need to enroll?
A sincere desire to use your experiences to help persons struggling with ADHD. A willingness to expand your knowledge about the science of ADHD, and the curiosity and enthusiasm to learn the art, skills and competencies of ADHD Life coaching.
What is your withdrawal / refund policy?
Students can withdraw from the IACTCenter training program at any time. The IACTCenter refund policy states that if student withdraws prior to first class, a full refund will be granted (minus a $200 administrative fee). If prior to the second class, the students will get a 75% refund. If after second week, no refund will be granted.
If you paid your tuition to hold a space in the IACTCenter training program and need to cancel, you may cancel without penalty before the program begins, minus an administrative fee of $200.
